KATIE JONES (KJ) // founder, manager
KATIE JONES (KJ) is a Brooklyn based manager, creative producer, music curator & live event specalist! She received a Bachelor of Music in 2011 from Berklee College of Music, focusing on Music Business/Management & Professional Music. And in 2022, Jones received her Master of Arts from University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, majoring in Arts Presenting & Live Entertainment Management.
Not only has Katie been actively working in the entertainment industry for 15+ years, she’s an experienced event producer with high-attention to detail, cultivation of community and known for booking an incredible, wide range of talent. KJ is a transparent, reliable problem-solver and leader. She’s supported numerous venues, festivals, artists and events within all facets of the arts. During each of her roles, she manages logistics well under extreme circumstances while remaining passionate about providing hospitality, opportunities and support to the artistic journey of live shows as well as events for the stage, tours and artists, directly.
In 2020, KJ co-founded Railroad Hart with her mother and retired registered nurse, Virginia Jones. They created Railroad Hart with the idea that it would signify home and a true comfort space for live music, creatives, independent musicians and touring professionals. Currently based in Brooklyn, this boutique company supports musicians & productions of all dimensions by assisting with artistic, stage and tour management and administration while specializing in freelance, curatorial showcases & event production. Railroad Hart is home to artists & creatives including J.Hoard, Nikara Warren and her project - Black Wall Street, Hailey Niswanger and her projects - MAE.SUN + Ohma, as well as singer-songwriter and vocalist - Kamilah, DJ Spin-X and ASL Artist - Brandon Kazen-Maddox.
Alongside supporting Railroad Hart’s mighty roster, Katie is the current creative producer for the multi-faceted artist that is LATASHÀ as well as a management consultant for the incredible vocalist, Sonic.
KJ has been an active tour manager supporting the COLORS Worldwide team & their live experiences including “R&B Only LIVE” since the Fall of 2021!
And in 2025, Katie became the newest member on the board of directors for The Haus of Fashion, Inc. This non-profit is dedicated to raising the profile of fashion; with a focus on the emergence of Danville, VA as one of the most important cultural cities in the south. The Haus of Fashion Inc educates, trains, and inspires undiscovered creatives in the fashion and arts community.

Virginia Jones is a registered nurse of 25 years, true champion of the arts and a die-hard music supporter.
Hailing from southwest Virginia by way of Arizona, VJ knows the true meaning of art as a healer. She consistently uplifts generations after her by supporting their direct dreams & goals in all capacities.
Within RAILROAD HART, she teams up with her daughter (KJ) for a true concept that will continue to provide opportunities for all musicians as well as a safe haven to rest their heads.
